Go green in Nantes

As soon as you reach Nantes by OUIBUS, you’ll see why it’s deserves its nickname: Europe’s Green Capital. With its large open spaces and easy lifestyle, it will seduce you completely. Nantes is home to over 100 parks and gardens, which you can explore at your leisure while planning the rest of your stay. Don’t know where to go? Follow the green line that takes you around the city’s many works of art, both temporary and permanent. Its street art is particularly magnificent!

After that, with more than 14 museums awaiting you, you’ll have more than enough to do and see. Start with the Château des Ducs de Bretagne and the Museum of the History of Nantes, so as to understand the complexity of the city’s past. Next, head towards the Jules Verne museum to reacquaint yourself with the works of the famous writer who made Nantes his home.

Don’t forget to visit the medieval quarter of the Bouffay; it offers a stark but welcome contrast with the more modern parts of the city.

After a fascinating but tiring walk, head over to one of the waterfront’s many excellent restaurants for a dish of freshly-caught seafood.

When you leave Nantes by OUIBUS, you’ll be feeling both refreshed and replenished!
