Ouibus in Béziers

14 boulevard de Verdun, 34500 Béziers

Feel on top of the world in Béziers!

Be prepared to let OUIBUS take you to new heights: from its hilltop position, Béziers overlooks all of Languedoc! Saint Nazaire cathedral, with its southern Gothic style, towers over the city. Lower down, the Romanesque church of Saint Madeleine shows influences from the city’s rich Cathar history in the 18th century… Make the most of the sun while you visit this charming, museum-like town. The Roman arenas sit beside more modern ones, which form the starting point of the feria and where you can watch bullfighting. The Saint Adrien gardens will take you on a journey through willows, laurels, almond trees and pine trees…

Further on, discover the sculpted busts of local artists in the Plateau des Poètes garden. The Titan fountain was designed by Injalbert, who grew up in the region and gifted the Villa Antonine, his former secondary residence, to the city. It now houses the Beaux-Arts museum. You certainly can’t go to Béziers without visiting the nine locks of Fonseranes, the prettiest work of art on the Canal du Midi! Paul Riquet, citizen of Béziers, had the idea for the canal and started its construction over three centuries ago. Make sure to toast him as you sip some Languedoc wine, the very best in France!

Worried about the return journey? No problem, OUIBUS is driving…
